Art in Dialogue with Design
A site-specific collaboration exploring the relationship between contemporary art, refined interiors, and the quiet sophistication of Italian design.
A Study in Balance
Created specifically for the Flexform Miami showroom, this collection of original works by Miami-based artist Politics responds directly to the architecture, materials, and atmosphere of the space.
Each artwork was conceived to complement its surroundings while maintaining its own distinct presence. Soft neutrals, layered surfaces, sculptural textures, and restrained contrasts create a visual dialogue with Flexform’s furniture and interiors.
Rather than competing with the environment, the paintings become part of it.
Art Created for the Space
The collaboration began with a close study of the showroom’s interiors—from the natural woods and refined textiles to the architectural lines and understated color palette.
Politics developed five original artworks for three distinct environments within the showroom. Each composition reflects the character of its setting while remaining connected through a shared visual language of movement, texture, and balance.
The result is an installation in which art and design feel inseparable.
Material, Movement and Restraint
The works combine dimensional surfaces with expressive gestures and carefully controlled palettes.
Ivory, limestone, taupe, warm earth, and charcoal tones echo the materials found throughout the showroom. Raised textures and sculptural details respond to changing light, allowing each painting to reveal new depth as the viewer moves through the space.
Every element has been considered—not only how the artwork looks, but how it lives within the room.

Where Art Meets Italian Design
Flexform is recognized for its timeless approach to contemporary living, defined by comfort, craftsmanship, and quiet elegance.
Politics brings a similarly considered approach to art, creating works that explore dimensionality, material identity, and emotional presence.
Together, the collaboration celebrates a shared belief: that the most memorable spaces are shaped not by individual objects, but by the relationships between them.
