Gaia is the second piece of the series of mother nature. The main idea behind this beautiful piece of art was to create a motion, class, and roughness. 

Politics wanted to use the same materials from Magdalena in order to keep a certain similarity in the series. Wood is the main component. Politics believe that wood is very special since it has it own fingerprints in each piece. He loves the idea that is impossible to replicate due to unique forms it creates. 

As you look directly at Gaia you will be able to see a similarity with dresses from the 1800s. It was a time of complete class and luxury. Each single piece of wood has been shaped to create flow, is hard to just focus on one section since your eye naturally keeps moving along the piece. The black wood was use to create mayhem and to contrast the finesse of the dress.  It shows the roughness of nature giving you a feeling of strength.
